At odds with democracy

The US seems quite at odds with how democracy really works. At least when you can’t engineer an election or commit voter fraud. I guess what Palestine really needs is electronic voting run by the same oligarchy that runs the US voting system.
Also, it seems quite appropriate from their point of view apparently to threaten and strong-arm other nations to see things their way. Their way being of course being to offer MASSIVE economic and military assistance to Israel to continue its brutal oppression and occupation. And we all know what happens when someone questions that agreement.
As for Hamas, no wonder some people are jumpy. Not only is it democracy in action, for better or for worse, but they also most likely are only half as corrupted as the last government. What the US can’t control, they fear. The past Palestinian administration of the last decades has indeed been a disaster in terms of not accomplishing pretty much anything and not negotiated for more than scraps. They have been a blessing for the US and Israel that way in all their glorious corruption and non-action. They couldn’t stop the violence, nor could create a violent enough situation so that Israel would be forced to pack up and leave its illegal settlements. Of course, Hamas is also a blessing in disguise in that Israel now has someone that will take the focus off of their past and present war crimes and perhaps even be a match in some areas. The media hype that we are seeing is not a genuine concern about the people of Palestine, or the so called security of Israel, but rather another attempt to obfuscate the issues and move the debate a little further away from the core facts.
In addition … The really hard questions however relate to whether Hamas is in fact anything but a Mossad engineered puppet as noted by Kurt Nimmo [1] [2] and Global Research. As they both note, sabotage to the so called “peace process” (even though it lacks the basis for being either “peace” or a “process”) is in fact in Israel’s best interest.
