Monsters under the bed

Sploid notes that a wave of coordinated fear mongering and scare tactics is sweeping across the U.S. Far from predicting actual events, in which case it would be unlikely the state would warn anyone in advance, it shows in a very succinct way how Americans are manipulated, to an ever increasing degree, to let fear run their lives. Blanket alerts aplenty.
In the meantime, King George restates pre-emptive doctrine. Only of course, in reality, “pre-emption” has in fact moved on to “prevention” of whatever imaginary threats can be conjured. The U.S. still needs to take two steps back two a legitimate defense. But if you’re in the market of creating a more unstable world of fear and violence, this seems like a sure bet. If Americans have monsters under their beds, those are surely of their own reckless making.
