Israel prevented initial Saadat trial

March 23rd, 2006 at 06:37 Björn Hallberg

The Israeli case remains one stacked like a house of cards. The seizing of Ahmed Saadat, PFLP secretary general, from a Palestinian prison in Jericho where he had been kept under international supervision being no exception.
As it turns out, Israel prevented the initial Saadat trial because most likely the evidence didn’t exist. Needless to say the Jericho prison show was engineered entirely to humiliate Palestinians, making them walk out in their underwear, as well as to manipulate the election and deter international presence and meddling in the occupied territories.
