Japan, US fail to reach base deal by deadline

(Via Agonist) It would seem those arrogant Americans just don’t know when to leave, or even how to do so honorably. 8,000 of the 40,000 U.S. troops in Japan stood poised to move like locusts to Guam. But apparently the deal wasn’t done. Unlike many of the Empire’s military outpost, those in Japan are largely payed for by the host tax payer. And so most likely will this relocation it seems. Just in case the incomprehensible gibberish about Japan’s security doesn’t catch on, perhaps the relocation bill might.
The United States has asked Japan to pay 75 percent of the 10 billion dollar cost of shifting troops to the US territory of Guam, which includes the cost of building new homes for soldiers and their families.
My standing advise to the Japanese would be to cast off the Americans once and for all. Before they decide to drag Japan into a monumental conflict with China. Basically Japan is paying for insecurity, not security. And it is telling that it is now the U.S. that wants to wash away Japan’s ‘pacifist’ tenets.
To hell with the trade deficit. Stay the JDF as the current constitution states and maintain prohibitions on the civil advancement of ex-military personnel. The actions and advise of the U.S. dragged Japan down the path of imperialism, cultural devastation and World War once before.
