George Galloway - A Matter of Revenge

April 30th, 2006 at 16:12 Björn Hallberg

British and American war criminals haven’t yet given up the idea of smearing their critics. As it turns out Britain has arranged to meet former former Iraqi deputy prime minister Tariq Aziz to try and incriminate MP George Galloway. The visit of course is very timely:

George Galloway said last night that it was “very significant” that Britain had approached Mr Aziz to seek information about him before next week’s local elections, in which his Respect Party is expected to take seats from Labour. Mr Galloway said: “I could question the propriety of visiting a political prisoner who has had heart attacks and strokes and who is being systematically denied family visits, medical visits and legal visits.”

Some other tidbits worth mentioning from the article, regarding the treatment of Aziz and the ludicrous “intelligence” gathering standards of the Americans.

“The CIA haven’t asked about Mr Galloway. They are obsessed with Jacques Chirac. Mr Aziz told them: ‘I find it strange you want revenge on Chirac. He is the respected President of France, so I regard the question as insulting.’ ”

“He is a shrunken figure,” Mr Arief said. “He can’t walk unaided, doesn’t eat properly and isn’t taking care of himself. The Americans are keeping him in the hope of browbeating him into testifying against Saddam. As a matter of conscience, he won’t,” Mr Arief said.

It reminds you of when the Americans were breaking down doors of ordinary Iraqis directly after the invasion, killing, beating and raping, demanding to know what THEY knew about Saddam. And here we go again. Some intelligence that is, running the operation like a French-bashing segment from Fox News. Of course, it’s not easy for American “intelligence” to do their job when they are really only trained for torture, rape, assassinations and secret low-intensity wars, and the “intelligence gathering” is in fact only a cover for terror.

George Galloway: Most will remember the impressive and gloriously stubborn performance by George Galloway before the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Permanent Subcommittee last May. When a snivelling Norm Coleman and seemingly senile Carl Levin learned the hard way that there are those that will simply not give in to American Empire and its intimidation tactics and overt lies. That the political discourse outside of the U.S. is a lot more than a just a toothpaste commercial. With the entire might of the U.S. “intelligence” machinery they managed to produce nothing but inconsistencies and embarrassing errors. In the light of that and the fact that the Zionist-driven anti-Galloway campaign has already been caught lying about a testimony from Aziz once, and that Aziz personally debunked those lies, it’s not difficult to see where this is going.

It has been a long year. The author is currently biding his time. Lets just say the journal is on a prolonged and much needed vacation. In the meantime you can be sure that I’m watching you all. I guess that at some point I will get so angry that I will in fact have to write something.
