The War on Dolphins

April 30th, 2006 at 15:34 Björn Hallberg

Needless to say, the U.S. doesn’t miss any nooks or crannies when it comes to molesting the world, biological, anthropological or otherwise. Doing its important warmongering business, the U.S. Navy most likely killed 400 bottlenose dolphins during one of its bogus terrorist witch hunts off the coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The most conclusive link between the use of military sonar and injury to marine mammals was observed from the stranding of whales in 2000 in the Bahamas. The U.S. Navy later acknowledged that sonar likely contributed to the stranding of the extremely shy species.

Apparently, the latest findings say the dolphins died of “natural causes” or “confused eco-location” which would fit the bill exactly for a case of sonar interference.
