End Time for Palestine

Well, the recent developments with the invasion of Gaza ought to at least corroborate that Israel views Jewish and Palestinian lives in very different light. Apparently, the safety of two Jews equals the safety of 1.3 million Palestinians. There you have it in black and white. As for the invasion being a collective punishment and attack on every man, woman and child living in Gaza you need only look at the deliberate attack on the rather obvious power plant the other day. Or the summary roundup of at least 64 ministers and parliamentarians from the Hamas party. The power plant in question was ironically enough insured by a US government agency and as such it will not be repaired any time soon. And when the US is done dragging its feet, it will be the US taxpayer who will once more have to pay for Israel’s overt and murderous policies.

Since the withdrawal from Gaza, Israel has been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to grind the Palestinians down in ways that weren’t open to them before. Just moving a heavy fighting force in and out of an area enables one to do incalculable structural damage, with a little extra on the side, and still get away with it under the guise of necessity and the cover of a slanted and narrowly focused news reporting that is mainly concerned with the few and select pieces of information they have been fed.
Daily terror, sanctions, air raids and shelling have been mixed with tireless efforts to sow discord among the Palestinian rulers and ferment a civil war. Anything to “solve” the “Palestinian problem” that has stood in the way of the greater Israel since day one. We’ll see how “well” they’ve done when the news blackout is lifted and humanitarian organizations are left to sift through the corpses.

  1. I think what is happening is that Israel is now playing by Middle East Rules.

Funny thing is the Palistinians could have avoided all this had they just returned the kidnapped soldier. If the Palestinians had just stayed on their side of the border all this could have been avoided.

BTW it is up to 87 Palestinians arrested. So far the Israelis have managed to avoid killing any one. The Palis murdeered an 18 yr. old boy. Bullet in the back of the head. Cold blooded murder, execution style.

It has been a long year. The author is currently biding his time. Lets just say the journal is on a prolonged and much needed vacation. In the meantime you can be sure that I’m watching you all. I guess that at some point I will get so angry that I will in fact have to write something.
