Thomas Friedman, US Arrogance and Interests
July 15th, 2006 at 18:20 Björn Hallberg
Liberal Sadist and flat earth contending, understanding moustache guy Thomas Friedman writes for the NYT (via Sadly, No!) …
America’s experiment in exporting democracy to the Middle East is failing because the people of Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine have inexplicably elected governments that are hostile to our interests.
Yes, indeed, this is supposedly America’s finest neoliberals and alternatives, offering his ‘insightful’ analysis of the world. Unfortunately it’s a nickelodeon synthesis that only slightly covers up its propagandistic and superpatriotic efforts. If nothing else, Friedman convinces you that there are really no good Americans. And that is my insightful analysis to match Friedman’s.
