US deceived UK over bomb flights

July 28th, 2006 at 08:22 Björn Hallberg

So the US didn’t trust its ally enough to be forthcoming about what it transported in the chartered Airbus A310 that logged in as civilian craft at Prestwick, Scotland. It’s lucky for the US though that Britain allows itself to be trampled on time and again and to be a party to state terrorism. Britain will now launch some sort of timid and procedural protest but will of course not jeopardize the rearming of Israel or its subordinate relationship with the United States.

Tony Blair faces a public backlash after it emerged that he has given the go-ahead for Britain to be used as a staging post for the supply of bunkerbusting bombs to Israel.

Whitehall sources confirmed that two more U.S. cargo planes carrying laserguided weapons will be given permission to land on British soil over the next couple of weeks.

It is ironic and sad also for Scotland, itself a long-time victim of foreign oppression, much like Palestine and Lebanon is today, to be a stopover for weapons shipments of this kind. And for Britain itself to become nothing more than a sniveling dog on a leash. As the SNP notes that Britain shouldn’t be “merely acquiescing everything the United States chooses to do” and “[i]nstead of being a client state of a US Administration who are failing to live up to their global responsibilities the UK should be joining the rest of the world in bringing about such a ceasefire.”

Addendum: Running out of friends. Ireland had previously refused to allow the same planes to stop over at Shannon airport.

    Good to read your site.

As a Scot from Ayrshire, living very close to Prestwick, I find it totally deplorable that that the US and the UK governent are using our airports and airspace to facilitate torture and bombing of innocent people.

Keep blogging. We all need to do our bit.

    Thanks again.

  3. Hello Bjorn and good wishes,

I was surprised to find anyone so able to See what honesty really is in someone [As it must be someone who seems to know how difficult it is to be honest because of one's subjectivity] .

Your views on almost all social issues in my estimation stem from your ability to analyze your own inate subjective bodily impulses - which you have mastered according to the moral strength that you have been able to acquire - God knows where.

I think whether one is an ‘atheist’ or not, only matters when contrasted with ‘believers’ of the established religions - otherwise to whatever one attributes the possibility or cause of this existence should not be a conflict-point between causilists and non-causilists. ANYHOW - you are not an ordinary predator (which most people are, although Covertly)

I hope to come to know you better. My email address is emacmur@yahoo.com

I haven’t the ability at this point to use the Gnpu encrytion software to contact you in that way.

With good wishes - Evan MacMurray

    Bjorn-

I tried to comment in the Battle Angel par of your site - but was rejected 4 times as not having passed the ‘Spam Test’ - which I certainly typed in accurately.

Hence - you may want to look into whether you are being gov-hacked.

    W/good wishes, Evan

  7. Evan –

Dang. I will look into the comment problem over at ‘Battleangel’. Thanks for pointing it out. Probably a scripting glitch, server overload in creating CAPTCHA images or something.

Oh, PGP encryption isn’t mandatory. Perhaps I should make a note of that also.

The problem has been solved I think. Too many anti-spam plugins running at the same time, creating false positives. Back to the matter at hand …

It has been a long year. The author is currently biding his time. Lets just say the journal is on a prolonged and much needed vacation. In the meantime you can be sure that I’m watching you all. I guess that at some point I will get so angry that I will in fact have to write something.
