Israel blames Russia for setbacks in Lebanon

August 27th, 2006 at 17:33 Björn Hallberg

Viktor Litovkin via Voltaire Network. Not surprising, the Israelis can’t come to terms with their failure, not to speak of the way the world views them, and instead blames Russia while once again playing the victim card (exaggerating the threat).

Hizbullah has, reportedly, already destroyed at least one armor division out of a total of seven that the IDF relies upon. These losses have jeopardized Israel’s blitzkrieg strategy and have lead the latter to limit its ground campaign to the pace of infantrymen. The Lebanese Resistance uses upscale Russian anti-tank rocket launchers that not only punch holes through Israeli Merkava, but also through US-made tanks.

[I]n accusing Russia of indirect support for the other side, politicians fail to realize that they admit their helplessness and discredit their own weapons and combat hardware.

The experts thanked the Israeli ministers for the free promotion of Russian weapons, but repeated they had nothing to do with this. They observed that Israeli tanks were hit in Lebanon, not in Israel.

Members of Hezbollah, no matter what emotions they may evoke, are mostly citizens of Lebanon, and have a lawful right to defend their land against the aggressor.

“Why blame anyone, if you are [yourself] bombing a foreign country with foreign weapons?” Indeed. The hypocrisy is breathtaking, but not unprecedented.

Please its never Israel’s fault. Ever. Its Russia’s this time for selling weapons to terrorists.. oh wait.. whats an Uzi?

Also those sneaky Lebanese civilians keep stealthing in and standing under Israeli bombs just to make the Jews look bad. What business do Lebanese people have in Lebanon, the Israeli’s told them to abandon their homes and livelihoods so they can invade their country. Its the civilian’s own fault if they die, when they can’t capitulate to such a reasonable and miniscule request.

Its just like Pearl Harbor.. the Japanese were just flying around dropping bombs randomly when those sneaky Americans planted their fleet under their bombs. Damn Americans.

It has been a long year. The author is currently biding his time. Lets just say the journal is on a prolonged and much needed vacation. In the meantime you can be sure that I’m watching you all. I guess that at some point I will get so angry that I will in fact have to write something.
